We have big plans!
Chris celebrates his employee's tenth anniversary quite unconventionally by resigning.
Laura will also pause her work. The freshly renovated house will have to do without us.

This time we have nothing less than a trip around the world in mind. And hitchhiking.

Everyone thinks we're crazy, so it can only be fun!

Our idea of travel

For us, traveling means discovering what we would otherwise never have met.
It's the unique conversations with people from other cultures.
These are the places where we would never have stopped by plane or car.
It is immersion in the everyday life of other people and cities.
It is the forgetting of time.

A vacation should relax from everyday life and not stress you even more.
I don't want to go home from my vacation with the feeling: "Shit, we didn't manage and see everything!"

The "Deutschlandfahrt" was the first attempt at a blog, with an unexpected response and actually "only" the dress rehearsal for our trip planned for 2022. We have big plans here: Chris is celebrating the company's tenth anniversary in an unconventional way by resigning and Laura will also be taking a break from work. This time we have nothing less than a trip around the world in mind. And that in the usual funny slow-travel manner.

“When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up.

I wrote: "happy". They told me I didn't understand the task and I told them they didn't understand life. "
